Chairman

Ben van Veen, as an IT specialist, assisted Burton with computer-related matters during the last 25 years of his life. Additionally, since 2006, he has served as chairman, overseeing the applications for various grants. Many of these grants were awarded by the Maror Foundation (Jewish funds) and facilitated numerous concerts by the group Klezmokum in synagogues and other Jewish institutions. Ben is also a saxophonist and performed with Burton.

Musical Director

Roberto Haliffi was Burton's dedicated drummer/percussionist and friend for 25 years. Together, they performed numerous concerts in various formations, ranging from duos to octets, both nationally and internationally. He has taken Burton's place as musical leader of the Klezmokum Revival band.

Musical Advisor

Harold Berghuis is best known as the guitarist of Hot Club de Frank. With this band, he performed three times at the North Sea Jazz Festival and toured throughout Europe. Additionally, he has his own New Hot Trio and accompanies singer Rolinha Kross. However, he is also a classical double bassist and plays bass in various jazz and world music ensembles, such as Mazzeltov, Tzivalo, de Baztidos, and, of course, Klezmokum.
